DIRECTOR, DEFENCE INNOVATION PARTNERSHIP (DIP)






Duties:  South Australia is establishing the Defence Innovation Partnership, a new organisation that will generate defence-related research and development activity for the state. This is a partnership between the South Australian Government, the Defence Science and Technology Group, University of Adelaide, Flinders University and the University of South Australia. The objectives are to provide a focal point for defence-related research partnerships across government, industry and academia, increase South Australia’s involvement in providing future technologies and ensure greater competitiveness for large Defence projects. This is a key role in raising the defence R&D profile of South Australia. The Director, Defence Innovation Partnership will provide executive and strategic leadership to identify, facilitate and support collaborative defence R&D and commercialisation activities in South Australia.

Essential Qualifications: A degree or higher level qualification in science, technology, engineering or related discipline.

Special Conditions: This is a contract/term vacancy up to 36 months.
