The selection of DCNS as the design partner for the Future Submarine program opens significant opportunities for South Australian industry into the French and potentially wider European markets. The potential design partners for the Offshore Patrol vessel and Future Frigates will also have a large presence at Euronaval.
The South Australian Government, through Defence SA, is assisting local industry to maximise their involvement in the supply chain. International trade shows, such as Euronaval, will provide maximum expose for local industry to a global market.
Euronaval will highlight South Australia’s industry capabilities and enable companies to develop timely personal contacts that are essential to developing new business opportunities resulting from the submarine and shipbuilding programs as they build momentum over the next 2-3 years.
Who is attending?
Sixteen local companies will join The Defence State stand at the Euronaval exhibition. South Australian tertiary education providers (TAFE SA, Adelaide University, Flinders University and University of South Australia) will also have a presence on the stand.
Additional South Australian Defence companies will be attending as part of the delegation and business mission immediately following Euronaval.
