Techport Australia is home to Australia’s two largest naval projects – the Collins class submarine sustainment and Hobart class Air Warfare Destroyer construction – and some of Australia’s leading maritime companies, including anchor tenant ASC, Raytheon Australia, Babcock, PMB Defence and Ferrocut.
The South Australian Government developed and owns this world-class maritime industrial precinct, which consists of:

- a fully integrated industrial precinct for suppliers
- a commercial and education precinct, including:
Techport Australia is located at Osborne, 25 kilometres north-west of Adelaide’s CBD, and is 35 minutes drive from Adelaide International Airport. It is also close to major national defence precincts Technology Park Adelaide and the Edinburgh Defence Precinct, home of RAAF Base Edinburgh and the Defence Science and Technology Group.
For industry, Techport Australia has a limited number of prime industrial allotments available for immediate development. It has easy access to the national transport network, including road, rail and deep-sea port, and links through the SABRENet high-speed optical fibre network to major research, defence and education sites across Adelaide.
Techport Australia has been designed for expansion to accommodate multiple prime contractors and support future naval shipbuilding and maintenance contracts.
