AFL have much experience on bridge maintenance and refurbishment. These projects have involved stripping, blasting, and painting of several bridges such as Albert Bridge for the City of Adelaide, Birkenhead Bridge for DPTI, Gawler Bridge for BMD and many more in the maritime environment. We have also reinstated full berths in the local Inner Harbour Port Adelaide such as Berth 29 Bulk Handling Facility and Outer Harbour M-Berth fuel loading terminal.
These projects included strip, re-coat with multiple coat systems and often needed hazardous lead encapsulation. All projects were completed on time, and within budget, full liaison between our Project Management Team and our clients enabled all issues to be dealt with in a timely manner and solutions agreed upon by all parties. Our attention to environmental and WHS in the public environment is second to none this is proven by our excellent results with hazardous projects and our own internal environmental engineer.
