Key state-based systems companies include:
- Raytheon Australia – the combat system integrator for the Collins class submarine replacement combat system and the Australian Aegis Combat System for the air warfare destroyers
- BAE Systems Australia – responsible for the ongoing availability of critical sovereign assets such as the enhancement and support of the highly sophisticated Jindalee Operational Radar Network, prime systems integrator and sustainment lead for the Navy's Landing Helicopter Dock ships and the upgraded ANZAC frigates, and principal systems integrator for the Royal Australian Air force F-35 jet fighters
- Saab Systems – the combat system integrator for the Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) and ANZAC frigates, including for the frigates’ anti-ship missile defence project, which incorporates the Australian developed and designed CEAFAR radar
- Lockheed Martin Australia – which supports the Jindalee Operational Radar Network, and recently established a Submarine Combat System Laboratory in Adelaide with key partners Saab Australia and Thales Australia and New Zealand.
