Aerobond are a specialist lightweight structures provider, primarily focussed on composite structures and sheet metal solutions.
Aerobond works with epoxy-based laminating systems combined with aramid, glass, carbon, quartz and hybrid type fibres, as well as sheet metal structures. Various techniques including use of prepregs, resin infusion and wet layup, depending on customer product requirements. We have an ISO Grade 7 layup room which is fully temperature and humidity controlled and automated, coupled with a high temperature 6m long vacuum oven, allowing us to produce high quality composite structures from our facility at Adelaide Airport.
Aerobond’s capabilities also include painting and surface treatments, and we are pleased to now be able to offer APAS 0502 olive drab painting capability, allowing us to accommodate Defence clients in the land domain. We will soon be expanding this capability to support all our Defence clients across Land, Sea and Air.
