Hercus has been an well known name in the South Australian manufacturing industry for over 100 years. From it’s beginnings as a machine tool manufacturer in 1920, Hercus have since evolved into the versatile and highly regarded general engineering company it is today.
Over the years, Hercus have supported a wide variety of industries, from mining and mineral processing, to oil and gas, power generation and maritime maintenance.
We’re a contracted supplier for BHP, being audited quarterly in areas such as WHS, DIFOT and continuous improvement, as well as a long term supplier for many other large customers across the country.
Now with the next generation of talent coming through the business, Hercus are looking to take on new challenges and expand their presence in the growing defence sector in SA.

– Other assembly rebuild (final drives, screw jacks, valve operators)
– Hydraulics service, inspect and rebuild
