We specialise in engineering design, prototyping, production and through-life support of multiple defence platforms, as well as other highly technical industries.
Established in 1996, Mincham is a family-owned manufacturing business based in Adelaide, South Australia. With a strong passion to service, develop and produce advanced light-weight solutions for the defence, aerospace and high-tech’ industries. We have broad capabilities and focus on producing flexible solutions for our customer.
We specialise in:
Composites – All processes – plant comprising of large (8m x 3m) and small (1.5m x 1.5m) autoclaves, ovens, vacuum systems, hot pattern press (3.6m x 1.5m), large down-draft preparation bays (17m x 7.5m), in-house mould manufacture, control environmental rooms, etc.
Machining and Sheet Metal – Aircraft & Defence – welding ovens, guillotines, welders (TIG, ARC, OXY & MIG), saws, 160 tonne press, 3.0m and 1.5m press-break NC, blasting, sheet rollers, sheet notcher, CNC lathe, CNC 4 axis milling machines (2.2m x .8m) , CNC 5 axis (750mm) CNC router (3m x 1.5m), CNC stencilling, coordinate measuring machine, ultrasonic inspection and much more.
Engineering Design Services – Aircraft & Defence – solidworks, simulation tools, autodesk, material development & testing, process engineering and automation, tooling design, program management, & ballistics.
Sovereign Products – Such as UAV-Tube Launched Aerial Delivery systems (TLADS), variable Delivery A class stores (VDA), Pitot Protection And Surveillance System (PPASS), aeromedical equipment and rifle suppressor systems.
