The Defence SA team can assist companies to establish offices, research and manufacturing facilities in South Australia’s key defence and innovation precincts. These include Osborne Naval Shipyard, Mawson Lakes’ Technology Park, Tonsley Innovation Precinct, Edinburgh Defence Precinct, as well as Lot Fourteen.
Companies also have access to South Australia’s peak business advocacy body, Business SA. Offering a range of services, advice and training, Business SA works to ensure the broader economic environment is conducive to successful business, and helps businesses reach their full potential, including in export markets.

The Defence and Space Landing Pad provides international companies with immediate connection to the co-located Defence Teaming Centre (DTC). This is a nationally focused member organisation helping Australian industry to increase capability and competitiveness in global defence markets.
Lot Fourteen incorporates the Space Innovation Precinct, which is home to the Australian Space Agency, Mission Control and Space Discovery Centre, the SmartSat CRC (cooperative research centre), Australian Institute for Machine Learning, Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre as well as a growing number of space companies and organisations.
