The Defence State shines at Land Forces 2022

The largest Land Forces International Land Defence Exhibition to date was held in Brisbane from 4-6 October 2022 with a record number of South Australian exhibitors in attendance.
Over the course of three-day event, an impressive 20,000 attendees visited the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre to see 810 exhibitor companies from over 25 nations, providing incredible opportunities for business and engagement for the industry.
Topping off the record-breaking event, industry representation on the South Australia – The Defence State stand quadrupled in 2022 since 2010. A total of 58 local companies showcased their products, services, and capabilities in areas such as electronic warfare, component design, advanced manufacturing, research and education, and more.
Amongst the networking, a number of industry announcements were also made:
- Cold Logic launched a new HVAC system to support Defence programs
- QuantX Labs reached a major milestone in the development of their flagship technology, Cryoclock
- Asension and AOS announced the launch of HERCULES EW
Chief Executive of Defence SA, Richard Price, said it was a successful event for all involved.
“Land Forces was a brilliant opportunity for the South Australian contingent to connect with other world-class suppliers in the global supply chain for major defence projects,” he said.
“We have an impressive line-up of defence companies delivering a range of different capabilities, technologies and services and Land Forces provides the ideal platform to showcase how South Australian industry can support the Australian Defence Force to meet the strategic challenges we face.”
